This is AP news minute. 1. Emergency crews worked Sunday to rescue scores of south Louisiana residents from deadly flooding. Authorities say about 5,000 people are staying in Shelters and that at least 7,000 have been rescued so far. 2. A suspect is dead after authorities say he attacked passengers on a crowded Swiss train with a knife and burning liquid. Authorities say one person was killed and three others remain hospitalized. Police say there is no indication that the suspect has ties to extremist group. 3. Iraqi Kurdish forces have retaken five villages, east of Islamic State-held Mosul, in an operation launched early Sunday morning. Kurdish security officials say the operation aims to "clear several more villages" that will increase pressure on Mosul. 4. More than 100 hot air balloons took to the skies in the United Kingdom on Sunday for Europe's largest balloon festival. Organizers say the event attracted about 500,000 people from around the world.
