For the first time in Barack Obama's presidency, Congress has rejected one of his vetos. The Senate and the House voted to override his veto of legislation. The bill in question allows families of September 11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia for allegedly backing the 9-11 attackers.

Images of an alleged attack against Aleppo's hospitals are emerging. The Syrian government and its ally, Russia, are accused of targeting the hospitals. On Wednesday, the UN Secreatry General said the attacks are war crimes.

More than 1000 people turned out to pay tribute to the late Miami Marlins's pitcher, Jose Fernandez. His hearse was escorted by the team's players in Miami. Fernandez died in the boating crash Sunday with 2 friends.

The Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge received a lesson on indigenous history during their tour of Canada. The royal couple participated in the Yukon language event where they listened to children singing songs and elders reading stories aloud.
