第79课 购物清单

　　A:Right. Here we are. Have you got the shopping list? Let's see. Pasta,rice, mince,mixed seafood, milk, salad stuff, fish,eggs, tea bags, coffee, sugar, ketchup...oh. and pasta sauce.

　　A：好了，开始吧。你带购物单了吗？好的，让我们看看。空心面、大米、肉馅、混合海鲜、牛奶、沙拉配料、鱼、鸡蛋、袋泡茶、咖啡、糖、番茄酱噢，对了，空心面酱。

　　B:Well, the fruits and vegetables are usually kept in the first aisle, near the entrance, so let's get the salad stuff first. Shall I get a trolley or basket?

　　B：水果和蔬菜一般放在第一排?靠近入口，所以先去买做沙拉用的东西吧。咱们是拿个手推车还是筐？

　　A:A troller I think.

　　A：手推车，我估计。

　　B:OK... we need tomato, cucumber,coriander, lettuce... oh, look, they've got pak choi as well... shall we get some? And we'll get some apples and pears... oh and these plums look nice.

　　B：咱们需要西红柿、黄瓜、香菜、生菜……噢，看，他们这儿还有中国白菜?我们买点儿吧？我们还应该买点儿苹果和梨。嗅，那些李子看起来不错。

　　A:Woah...hold on...we don't want to get so much that we can't eat it all... and don't get too many polythene bags... they're bad for the environment In fact...hink we can probably get the fruit and veg down at the farmer's market...it'll be cheaper and fresher. Let's get the easy stuff first... pasta and rice; they are in the second aisle. Right...do we want spaghetti or pasta shells?

　　B:Pasta shells,I think...they're easier, aren't they?

　　B：面片儿，我觉得。它们更容易做，不是吗？

　　A:OK... pasta shells it is. Now... rice... basmati rice? patna rice? Indian? Thai?

　　A：好，那就面片儿吧。现在，大米，是要印度香米？巴特那米？印度米？还是泰国米？

　　B:Thai rice,I think...I like the jasmine flavour it's got.

　　B：泰国米，我觉得，我喜欢它的茉莉香味。

　　A:Mmm... scented. Right... let's look for the meat and the seafood...They'll be in the chiller cabinets...Right...prime Irish minced beef...buy two packs, get one free. Is that OK?

　　B:Yes, fine.

　　B：好吧。

　　A:Now for the seafood... we're making seafood pasta, right? So we need, like a mixture... shrimps, mussels, oyster, cockles and stuff... How about this... seafood mix? Two-for-one... ￡2.99. That's a good deal. Now... let's see, milk, coffee,tea bags... they're all round there. Are you ticking these off as we go?

　　B:Yes... don't worry.

　　A:Right, we need some tins of pasta sauce... where are they... excuse me[to shop assistant],where do you keep the pasta sauce?

　　C:Aisle three, under condiments.

　　C：第3排.在调味品下面。

　　A:Thanks... oh look[to Jun] shall we hav...ock at the cooked-meat counter. Hello [to counter assistant] what are those things?

　　A：谢谢。噢，看呐[对军]我们去看看熟肉柜台怎么样？你好[对售货员]，那些东西是什么？

　　C:They're Scotch eggs... like hard-boiled eggs wrapped in mincemeat. Do you want to try a bit?

　　A:Scotch? What? With whisky in them? Sure.

　　A：苏格兰？什么？那里面一定是有威士忌了？一定的。

　　C:No... there's no whisky in them. Scotch just means Scottish. Why don't you try something else...we've got pork pie, pork pie with egg in it, black pudding, sausages, haggis...

　　C：没有，里面没有威士忌。这只是说它是苏格兰产的。你要不要试试别的？我们还有猪肉饼、带鸡蛋的猪肉饼、黑香肠、香肠、肚包羊杂碎

　　A:What's haggis?

　　A：什么是肚包羊杂碎？

　　C:It's a traditional Scottish dish... minced lamb cooked with oatmeal and spices in a saheep's stomach...only,we use plastic, not sheeps' stomachs,these days.

　　C：一道传统的苏格兰菜，用燕麦和辣味调料做的羊肉末，塞进羊胃里烹制，不过我们现在用塑料而不是羊胃。
