This is AP news minute. 

1. National security experts painted a sinister picture for senators examined Russian meddling in the 2016 election, saying fake news and smear campaign could have ties to the Kremlin. Earlier Thursday, Russian president Vladimir Putin again dismissed what he called "Endless and groundless accusations". 

2. In North California, lawmakers voted Thursday to roll-back the so-called "Bathroom bill". A compromise plan came as a bid to end the backlash over transgender right that has caused the state dearly in business projects, conventions and basketball tournaments. 

3. President Donald Trump is holding bilateral meetings with the Danish prime minister. Lars Loekke Rasmussen is the latest wary European ally to visit the White House since Trump took office. 

4. The world's oldest and most experienced space woman just set another record, this time for space walking. NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson floated out on a 8th space walk of her career Thursday morning, 250 miles up at the international space station.
