US markets took a blow Monday after the Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged more than 1,100 points, erasing its gains for the year. The drop was the biggest one-day point drop of all time.

President Donald Trump is calling democrats "un-American" and maybe even treasonous for not applauding him during his State of the Union Address last week. The President travelled to Ohio on Monday, where he toured a manufacturing company and touted his recently-passed tax overhaul law.

The L.A. county sheriff's department is hoping a renewed interest in the mysterious 1981 death of actress Natalie Wood will bring forth new witnesses. Her husband, actor Robert Wagner, is a person of interest and refuses to speak to authorities.

Former sports doctor Larry Nassar was sentenced Monday to 40 to 125 years in prison, his final criminal punishment in a sex abuse scandal that went on for decades and rocked Michigan State University and USA gymnastics.
