| Our first guest is a lovely young actress starring in a new film entitled “Becoming Jane. It opens in selected cities on August 3rd. Ladies and gentlemen, here is Anne Hathaway. Oh, Anne. Oh, well, Anne! What happened? Oh it's a very lovely song. Beautiful, Paul. Sedate but lovely. Sedate, oh, gal, we could hit you some.... No, I was, I was trying to glide, that helps. Yeah, I know you're glad. Well, you certainly did.You look, you look wonderful, by the way. Thank you. And it makes me wonder, do you have plans for after the show? That because you look like you are going out to something important. It's all for you. Oh, my goodness, how lovely. A little bit for Paul, too. (A little bit for Paul) Oh, fine, thank you. Nice to see you again. Good to see you. How's your summer going? Um , so far, so good. I have been working for a lot of it, but I am having a lot of fun. Alright. It’s nice to be in New York for this summer. It’s, I've been gone, I have been gone for most of the year, (Yeah) so it’s really really good to be here. But it gets, sometimes it gets oppressively hot,what do you think? Oppressively hot, and alarmingly rainy, but the good… Oh, yeah, that’s right. But do you find that…I mean I think in New York, when the weather gets really really appalling, and everyone is miserable, it makes me happy. I…You know, I kind of understand… Would you like me to explain? Yeah, please, please do. It’s nice that everyone is miserable together, it gives you a sense of community, in L.A. like the three days of the weather sucks, everybody just runs in their cars or stays in their houses. Here , you know, people are just…going to the subway and everyone just looks like they wanna kill you, and that’s nice. Well. That is nice. Yes. |
