Authorities in Iowa say a man from Mexico confess to kidnapping and killing college student Mollie Tibbetts. Cristhian Bahena Rivera, who is in the US illegally, is charged with first degree murder.

And people in Hawaii are preparing for Hurricane Lane, a powerful category 5 storm in the Pacific. The hurricane is forecast to come dangerously close to the main Hawaii Islands this week, bringing fierce winds and flash floods.
