An official in Wisconsin says at least five people have been killed in a shooting rampage in northern Wisconsin. It happened in Crandon about 225 miles north of Milwaukee. President Bush paid honor to the men and women who put their lives on the line everyday-firefighters. He spoke at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial. The names of 91 firefighters were added to the memorial this year. Vandals seriously damage artwork by the renowned artist Claude Monet. You can see the four-inch gash in the painting. French officials say it happened at the Orsay museum early this morning. The surveillance camera caught the group as it entered but everyone took off after an alarm sounded. Mini ultrasound machines are changing the way doctors work. With this new machine, doctors can scan the neck of people with no symptoms of heart problems to detect hidden dangers. The new technology is smaller and cheaper than regular ultrasound machines. |
