He also replaced the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court ahead of an expected decision on his presidency. 2.One of the country's largest agribusinesses is recalling more than a million pounds of ground beef. Cargill says the meat distributed to ten states may be contaminated with E. coli. The meat was produced in Pennsylvania between October 8th and 11th and was sent to major supermarkets. 3.Remnants of Hurricane Noel are responsible for high winds and heavy surf along parts of the East Coast. The storm is blustering northeastward across the open Atlantic. Forecasters expected it to hit the Cape Cod during a high tide between 7 and 8 p.m. 4.NASA astronauts performed emergency surgery on a ripped solar panel on the International space station. The damage had to be fixed for construction on the Space Station to continue. Without it, the wing could have become a structural hazard. |
