Police in New Zealand say it's believed that the gunman who killed 50 people in 2 mosques acted alone. The country's Prime Minister is calling for new, stricter gun laws after the massacre.

Ethiopia's Transport Minister says that similarities were found in the airline crash in Ethiopia and another one in Indonesia a month earlier. Both aircraft were Boeing 737 Max 8s, which are now grounded in many countries.

Late winter flooding has forced hundreds of people from their homes in Nebraska. Serious flooding is also expected in both Missouri and Kansas.

And a petrochemical fire forced some Houston-area residents to stay indoors. Deer Park officials told residents to shelter in place as flames burned through the night.
