President Donald Trump took a swipe at Denmark's Prime Minister after canceling a planned visit to the country because the Prime Minister rebuffed his interest in buying Greenland. The Danish leader had called Trump's idea "an absurd discussion." The President hit back, calling her remarks "nasty". President Trump may have angered a NATO ally, but he drew applause from vets during a visit to Kentucky. Trump signed an executive order directing the Department of Education to forgive all federal student loans of veterans who are permanently disabled. The Department of Homeland Security is moving to end a long-standing federal court agreement, known as the Flores Agreement, that limits how long immigrant children can be kept in detention. Wednesday's announcement is almost certain to spark a new court fight over the change. Thousands took to the streets of Prague Wednesday to protest their government and mark the 51st anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia. Organizers are calling for the Czech Prime Minister to resign due to allegations of corruption. |
