GM in the hot seat, Honda marks a milestone and why thieves loved this past winter… it's all part of this week's "FOX Wheels".

What did they know? When did they know it? And…Why didn't they act sooner?

Those are just some of the questions GM's CEO Mary Barra is expected to be asked when she goes before lawmakers on Capitol Hill Tuesday to talk about her company's delayed ignition switch recall.

There have been 31 crashes and 12 deaths and GM says it knew about the problem over a decade ago.

Honda has marked a milestone at its Marysville, Ohio plant — the first of four factories in this country.

It was even the star of an old commercial.

(Commercial) "It's the weekend and the Honda automobile plant in Marysville, Ohio is closed."

The automaker rolled it's 10 millionth U.S. made Accord off of the assembly line at the factory you see while driving along Route 33 in Ohio.

The arctic cold may've irked you, but the Northern Illinois Auto Theft Task Force says car thieves loved it.

In the city of Rockford, almost half of the cars and trucks stolen were left running and unattended by people trying to warm them up.

Local police say some of those stolen vehicles ended up in chop shops but most of them were used as getaway cars in crimes.
