President Obama laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns, opening a somber ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.

In his remarks, President Obama alluded to the scandal rocking the Veteran's Affairs Administration.

(President Obama) "As we've been reminded in recent days, we must do more to keep faith with our veterans and their families."

President Obama said we must ensure vets get the benefits and opportunities they've earned and deserve. The President said because of the sacrifices of fallen patriots, our nation is stronger and safer.
