Hillary Clinton used a private email address during her time at the State Department, instead of an official government address. 

希拉里·克林顿在国务院处理政务期间使用的是私人电邮,而非官方地址。

The private account was discovered by the House Select Committee on Benghazi, raising concerns she violated federal law requiring official messages to be retained for the record. 

她的这一私人账户是由班加西的众议院特别委员会发现,担忧她违反了要求官方信息留存备案的联邦法律。

In a statement, a Clinton spokesperson said the letter and spirit of the rules permits State Department officials to use non-government email, and that when Clinton emailed government officials, she had every expectation they would be retained.
