Pension payments worth about 5,000 per month we're taken away from Jerry Sandusky the day he was convicted of sexually abusing ten boys in 2012 and sentenced to prison.

The state wrongly concluded that Sandusky was a Penn State employee when he committed the crimes that were the basis for the pension forfeiture.

Sandusky retired in 1999.

He'll now get retroactive payments, plus interest.
