As of early Sunday morning, hurricane Irma has finally made landfall on U.S soil. The storm is currently devastating the Florida Keys and parts of southern Florida.

The storm made landfall as a category 4 hurricane with winds up to 130mph and wind gust even higher then that.

The storm is expected to turn into a cateory 3 hiurricane before continuing up the west coast of Florida.

预计，飓风艾玛在向佛罗里达西岸转移前会降为3级。

Florida Gov. Rick Scott strongly urged the residents in the Florida Keys to evacuate.

佛罗里达州州长Rick Scott强烈要求佛罗里达群岛居民立即疏散。

Saturday he is quoted saying, "If you have been ordered to evacuate, you need to leave now. This is your last chance to make a good decision."

周六，他表示，“如果你没有被要求疏散，那么你现在必须离开这里了，这是你做出明智选择的最后一次机会。”
