They say he has stolen it from his stepfather into the Westroads Mall under his sweatshirt. Police say he killed six department store employees and two customers before turning the gun on himself.

2. Hundreds of thousands of homeowners could see the interest rates on the sub-prime mortgages frozen. President Bush made the announcement saying it could help some responsible homeowners avoid foreclosure.

3. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says he will not serve anyone, religion, group or cause if he's elected. Romney gave a major speech in Texas today to confront critics at his Mormon religion.

4. Police in Madison, Wisconsin chased after a donut truck. The Krispy Kreme truck had been stolen. During the chase, donuts flew out the open back door.
