Bill Shorten has revealed the ALP's plans to crack down on Australians who use trusts to avoid paying tax. Speaking to a meeting of the New South Wales branch of the Labor party, the opposition leader confirmed a Shorten Labor government would introduce legislation for a 30 per cent tax rate on distributions from discretionary trusts.
