密歇根新闻广播 撒马利亚人计划今年帮助100名难民(在线收听

In 2016, the refugee resettlement agency Samaritas helped some 1,400 refugees find new homes and new lives in Michigan.

This year, they expect to receive 100 refugees. That drop has meant big changes for refugee resettlement agencies all around Michigan.

Samaritas president Vickie Thompson-Sandy joined Stateside today to explain why Samaritas is experiencing this drop, what it means for refugees who rely on Samaritas for support and services, and what would happen if things change in the future, and we see more refugees in Michigan again.
