At Google's developer conference, the company showed off improvements to Assistant and Google Photos that would take advantage of a new technology called Google Lens.

Google Lens will allow Assistant to give you information based on what the camera is seeing at the time.

Lens will bring the ability for Google Photos to identify things within your pictures such as buildings or paintings.

Google also introduce Google Assistant for iOS.

The company also announced new features for its Amazon Echo competitor--the Google Home.

Home will gain the ability to call any phone number in the US and Canada for free.

Google Home能够免费拨打美国和加拿大的任何电话号码。

Additionally, Home will be able to show you information about the things you're asking about on your television if you have a chromecast attached.

The ransomware known as wannacry continues to wreak havoc.

So far more than two hundred thousand computers have been affected.

Wannacry encrypts documents on windows computers and asks users to pay a fee to fix the problem.

However, payment does not guarantee recovery of your files.

Variants of wannacry have also popped up in the wild.

And finally, Disney CEO Bob Iger says hackers claim to have stolen a copy of an unreleased Disney movie.

Iger stated that the hackers are threatening to release the film unless Disney pays up.
