Here there were strange fossils called stramatolites.

At the beginning of the mid-Jurassic we have these kind of structures here that represent stramatolites.

Stramatolites, like this, were form in this particular case

Stramatolites are formed by a kind of algae.

They thrive in extreme environments which are both wet and very hot, like the mega-monsoon.
