It's nothing. Probably just the altitude.

他当场就死去了

He died there and then.

没人会去靠近他的车查看

No-one had any cause to go near his car,

所以他就这么藏在驾驶席上  直到...

so there he remained, in the driver's seat, hidden, until...

两辆车被仔细检查时

When the two cars were examined,

假座椅套被火烧毁  于是查理露了出来

the fake seat had melted in the fire, revealing Charlie,

而他已经死在那里一个星期了

who'd been sitting there, quite dead, for a week.
