[00:05.60]A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street，

[00:11.94]going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar.

[00:15.66]He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars

[00:19.82]and slowed down when he thought he saw something.

[00:22.88]As his car passed，

[00:24.63]one child appeared，

[00:26.49]and a brick smashed into the Jag’s side door.

[00:29.45]He slammed on the brakes and spun the Jaguar back to the spot from where the brick had been thrown.

[00:35.89]He jumped out of the car，

[00:37.97]grabbed some kid and pushed him up against a parked car， shouting，

[00:41.79]"What was that all about and who are you?

[00:44.41] Just what the heck are you doing?"

[00:46.60]Building up a head of steam，he went on,

[00:49.23]“That’s a new car and that brick you threw is gonna cost a lot of money.

[00:53.06] Why did you do it?"

[00:54.37]　“Please，mister，please，I’m sorry.

[00:56.88]I didn’t know what else to do!”

[00:58.42]pleaded the youngster.

[00:59.73]"It’s my brother，" he said,

[01:01.79] "He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can’t lift him up.

[01:06.38]Sobbing，the boy asked the executive，

[01:09.11]"Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair?

[01:12.29] He’s hurt and he’s too heavy for me."

[01:15.02]Moved beyond words，

[01:17.42] the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat.

[01:21.47]He lifted the young man back into the wheelchair

[01:24.97]and took out his handkerchief and wiped the scrapes and cuts，

[01:28.91]checking to see that everything was going to be okay.

[01:32.19]"Thank you， sir. And God bless you，"

[01:35.69]the grateful child said to him.

[01:37.87]The man then watched the little boy push his brother to the sidewalk toward their home.

[01:43.34]It was a long walk backs to his Jaguar...

[01:49.02] He never did repair the side door.

[01:51.21] He kept the dent to remind him not to go through life so fast

[01:55.37]that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention.
