Buffalo usually move in herds,

so there's something odd about him.

It may be that it was brought up as a calf and is humanised.

This little chap was born blind

and is guided everywhere by his keepers.

They took him away from his mother a few weeks ago,

because she couldn't protect him any more.

He's very vulnerable so he would have been killed by predators.
