1. It's a huge day for presidential politics and voting has begun on the crucial four-state primary that could determine both the Democratic and Republican races. Hillary Clinton is looking to put a stop to the momentum that has carried Barack Obama to victories in the last 11 Democratic contests. On the Republican side, John McCain hopes to clinch the nomination and force Mick Huckabee to the sidelines.

 

2. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has touched down in Israel amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. Rice made a pitch stop in Egypt, saying rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza must stop for the situation to improve. She also says Israel's military must not target Palestinian civilians.

 

3. Six people including 2 children were found dead in Memphis. Police say they were victims of gunshot wounds and 3 other children were hurt. Authorities haven't given any information about potential suspects or a possible motive.  

 

 4. Police in West Palm Beach is still trying to figure out what drove a man to go on a shooting rampage at a Wendy's. The gunman opened fire, killing one and injuring another five. The man later took his own life.
