来自伦敦和Sussex的The Feeling，由五个二十多岁、彼此认识超过十年的年轻人组成，Paul、Kevin、Ciaran三人原本就是同学，进入Croydon音乐学院后认识了Dan和Richard，兴趣相投的五人一拍即合组成The Feeling，连续多年在阿尔卑斯山的渡假胜地演出，除了翻唱Rolling Stones、Kinks、The Beatles、A-ha、Stevie Wonder…等艺人的歌曲，也演唱自己谱写的作品测试市场接受度；他们以流行音乐为傲、坚持创作符合大众口味、从大学教授到蓝领工人阶级都能朗朗上口的旋律，相信通俗并不是罪过。主唱兼吉他手Dan Gillespie Sells是全团的创作灵魂，他期许自己能结合木匠妹妹Karen Carpenter情绪掌控恰如其分的唱功、皇后合唱团主唱Freedie Mercury的舞台魅力以及Neil Young的吉他技艺。 |
