1.A man with a rifle walked into the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. and fatally shot a guard. The gunman was then shot by security guards who returned fire. He is said to be in critical condition.

2.The White House says President Barack Obama was saddened by the Holocaust museum shooting. Officials say James Von Brunn, an  elderly white supremacist, is now being investigated as a potential suspect.

3.Italian automaker Fiat says it's closed the deal to take over Chrysler’s good assets, forming a new company. The deal clears the way for struggling Chrysler to emerge from bankruptcy protection. A Supreme Court ruling paved the way, ruling against some bondholders’ blocking of the sale.

4.And it's a robot that knows how to use a stove. This cooking robot was on display in Tokyo. But this robot has its culinary limitations. It has no sensors or eyes, so all equipment must be positioned perfectly.
