1.The White House is insisting it's not changing its stands on health care reform. It says reports suggesting the administration is ready to abandon the public option in favor of health care cooperatives are overblown.

2.Michael Jackson will finally be laid to rest later this Month. A spokesman for the family says he'll be buried just outside of LA on August 29th which would have been his 51st birthday. He died in June at a home in Los Angeles.

3.NFL Brett Favre has unretired again. The 39-year-old former MVP has joined the Minnesota Vikings. The quarterback first retired from the Packers last year only to come back to play for the Jets. Then he retired again after the end of last season.

4.You are looking at the newest members of one of the rarest species in the world. This giant panda gave birth to two cubs today. They are born at a facility in China and are being closely watched by officials there.
