If a diver is unable to compete in any session
the diver ranked next shall advance to the next session
in order to have the prescribed number of divers in each session.
When two or more divers score the same number of points,
a tie shall be declared for that particular place.
In the individual events,
the diver with the highest total points
shall be declared the winner of that event.
In the synchronized events,
the team with the highest total points
shall be declared the winner of that event.
