Pakistani investigators are trying to find out if five Americans being held in Pakistan have links to terrorism. Police in the country say the D.C area men had confessed coming to Pakistan to take part in "jihad". 3. First it was a deadly winter storm. Now extreme cold is settling in parts of the Midwest in New England. The storm that dropped more than a foot of snow in those areas killed at least 17 people, pronouncing wind chill as low as 40 below. 4.
