天籁音乐 风之彩(Colors Of The Wind)

在迪士尼几十年以来的卡通长片经典中，《风中奇缘》可以说是非常特别的一部，因为这是在所有以“人”为主角的迪士尼卡通里面，头一次让“有色人种”当主角，而且也不是以“皆大欢喜”作为故事的结局。而尽管我对这个故事已经十分熟悉，但是每次重新观赏、特别是在听到片中着名的插曲“Colors of the Wind”的时候，都仍然难免有许多感慨。

    迪士尼的卡通往往制作得老少咸宜，因为他们在讲述一个简单的卡通故事的同时，还试图让观众体会到一些画面外的真意。如你我这样的成年人，也能从中看出乐趣，看出生活、生命的真谛。《风中奇缘》就是这么一部精彩的故事。

    一贯的迪斯尼传统，影片中的音乐成分是很重的，也很精致，迪斯尼公司再度请得艾伦.曼肯(Alan Menken)出马，他为《小美人鱼》(Little Mermaid¹, The)，《美女与野兽》(Beauty And The Beast)，《阿拉丁》(Aladdin)创造了浪漫音乐的奇迹，也为自己赢得六座奥斯卡奖，六座格林美奖及十一座金球奖。这次为《风中奇缘》(Pocahontas)配乐，更丝毫不减大师功力。填词由两获格林美的奖斯蒂芬.舒瓦兹(Stephen Schwartz)操刀。主唱则请来范妮莎.威廉姆斯(Vanessa Williams)，使片中那种深沉的感伤、却又自由新生的浪漫气氛展露无遗。风之彩(Colors Of The Wind)也因此获得了第六十八届奥斯卡最佳电影歌曲。

 
    在风之彩(Colors Of The Wind)这首歌曲中，那个印第安公主Pocahontas对奉命随同总督前来新大陆寻找黄金的英国船长John Smith说，你们自以为拥有任何你们所踏上的土地，大地只是让你们予取予求、没有生命的东西，但是我知道每块石头、每棵树和每一种动物，都有生命、有灵魂、也有自己的名字。你们以为世间只有长相跟想法都跟你们一样的人才能算人，但是如果你能够认识一下“陌生人”的想法，你将会学习到许多你从来不知道的事情。你可曾听过野狼对明月的嚎叫？或者是问过山猫它为何带着笑？你能不能跟山里所有的声音一起歌唱？能不能用风所有的色彩来作画？

    来吧，跟我一起在隐藏松林间的小径奔跑，尝尝大地甜美的果实。来吧，在你四周丰腴的大地打滚，就这麽一次，不要去想那些东西值多少钱。风雨和河流是我的兄弟，苍鹭和水獭是我的好友，我们彼此紧密相连，就如同一个永远没有缺囗的圆圈。

    一棵枫树能够长到多高？如果你把它砍倒，你就永远无法知道。而你也永远无法听到月下的狼嚎，因为不论我们的肤色是白的还是古铜色的，我们都需要跟山里所有的声音一起歌唱，用风所有色彩来作画。即使你们可以拥有这片大地，但你们唯一能够拥有的也只有泥土，除非你能够学会用风所有的色彩来作画。

 
    这首歌的歌词虽然很简单，意义却是非常深远的。而故事里白人和印第安人的关系，以及歌曲里人类和大自然的关系，都值得我们去深思。我们的家园现在面临的不也正是这样的情况吗？为了经济的发展，树林砍掉了；草原破坏了；河流不在清澈；安静的生活也一去不返。我们小的时候能去山上爬树、水里捞鱼，而如今的孩子只能住在钢筋水泥的“树林”里玩着电脑游戏。当你摒弃了以自我为中心的态度，当你放开心胸爱我们身边的自然，相信你能体会到风的色彩。
