秘鲁南部发生6.0级地震

 　　WASHINGTON, July 16 (Xinhua) -- A 6.0-magnitude earthquake jolted¹ southern Peru on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

　　The quake, which occurred at 0237 GMT, was centered 18 km west of Chivay, with a depth of 6.6 km.

　　No casualties or damage were reported so far, according to Peruvian authorities.
