 　　China last Tuesday released a list of goods banned for export to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), as the items could be used to develop weapons of mass destruction.

　　上周二，中国发布了一份禁止向朝鲜出口物品的清单，这些物品可能会被用于开发大规模杀伤性武器。

　　The ban, with immediate¹ effect, follows UN Security Council resolutions, said the Ministry² of Commerce website.

　　The list names dozens of banned items including metal hydrides, laser-welding equipment and plasma³ cutting equipment.

　　It also bans the exports of a dozen chemicals that could be used in the production of "chemical warfare⁴ agents".

　　此外，这份清单还禁止将十几种可用于生产"化学战剂"的化学品作为出口物品。

　　The UN Security Council adopted a resolution in March in response to the DPRK's nuclear test in January and attempted satellite launch in February.
