Rescuers have found the wreckage¹ of that plane that went missing in West Africa with six Australian mining executives on board. Cameroon’s information minister said the plane was found in the Congo and that none of the 11 people on board had survived.

 

Three more Australian soldiers have been killed in Australia’s deadliest day of conflict in Afghanistan. The commandos along with a US soldier were killed when their helicopter crashed mysteriously while being flown into battle. Seven other soldiers were injured too seriously.

show key seats won by Labor³ in 2007 have swung back against Kevin Rudd. In regional Queensland marginal seats, Labor has lost six points and the Prime Minister has a 59 per cent dissatisfaction rating.
