Auckland continues to mop up after a tornado6 swept through the city. At least two people died and dozens of people were injured there. The twister tore through the suburb of Albany, tossing cars aside, uprooting7 trees and tearing rooves of houses and a shopping centre.
The Federal Government is still struggling to convince voters of the merits of its carbon tax. The latest Newspoll shows 60 per cent of them are opposed to the tax. Just 30 per cent say that they will support it.
