 　　Suddenly Arya remembered the crypts at Winterfell.  艾莉亚突然忆起临冬城下的墓窖。

　　They were a lot scarier than this place, she told herself.  她告诉自己那儿比这里可怕多了。

　　She'd been just a little girl the first time she saw them.  第一次去的时候，她还是个小女孩。

　　Her brother Robb had taken them down, her and Sansa and baby Bran, who'd been no bigger than Rickon was now.  那次由哥哥罗柏领队，带着她、珊莎还有小布兰，当时的布兰还没现在的瑞肯大呢。

　　That was when they heard the sound, low and deep and shivery.  就在那时，他们听见了低沉而震颤的声音。

　　Baby Bran had clutched at Arya's hand. 小布兰紧紧抓住艾莉亚的手。

　　When the spirit stepped out of the open tomb, pale white and moaning for blood,  当幽灵从打开的坟墓里走出来，呻吟着要吸活人鲜血时，

　　Sansa ran shrieking¹ for the stairs, and Bran wrapped himself around Robb's leg, sobbing². 珊莎尖叫着朝楼梯跑去，布兰抱住罗柏的大腿抽噎起来，

　　Arya stood her ground and gave the spirit a punch.  艾莉亚则站在原地，捶了幽灵一下。
