Lucy, a patient who first got to know the pharmacy on Facebook, comes for treatment of her insomnia7.
She says traditional Chinese medical practice won't take effect immediately but is effective over the long-term.
"I think there are many people from Czech Republic who try one time or two times and it's over. You have to have massage and some herbs for a longer time. It's not first-time is okay, no."

"Our experts come here, on one hand, to let more people know about the traditional Chinese medicine, on the other hand we hope to introduce the culture of the ancient practice to other places of the world. So people can enjoy the medical services and happiness that bring about by the treatment and culture of traditional Chinese medicine. "
The drug store run by Tongrentang started operation at the end of last year.
Director of the Czech branch Shang Guosheng says there is a huge market potential for Chinese medicines in the country.
"Local residents in Czech Republic show great interest in traditional Chinese medicine which we believe is a precious gift to the world. So we hope we can bring it to the country and let more Czech people enjoy the benefits. "
