 -I was so scared to work on a call. It just says Jared and when I saw you text merely, I was like “Oh, I'm seeing him later. It's really exciting. This is really fun.

-Hi, Leighton.

-Hi, (yeah) my god. Oh, my god, oh my Jared.

-You dyed your hair brown to play Blair. Are you still a blonde at heart?

-Oh, Lordy, well, it is still growing in that way, so I guess so, but I kind-of forget what color my hair is, because I don't ever get to really see it. It is whatever color character I'm playing at the time and it's kind of fun that way. I get kind-of lazy and I don't dye it for a while, so it's, so now, I'm sort-of back to brown again and I think it matches my personality a little bit more.

-Hum, is it true that your nickname¹ “Happy Feet” was created because of your signature dance move?    

-Oh, Lord, where are you getting this terrible, it's terrible. When we first came out to start Gossip² Girl in New York, we were always going to concerts and like going out to bars and singing like music.

-Can you explain why you named your dog Trudy?

-It started because everything that I was saying I would agree to somebody, or agree with somebody else, I would say true. Then it just turned into Trudy. And then now I call her everything from Trudy Gallon, to Judge Trudy, to Trusephine Baker³, to Antrue Myma, and Girl True, Trueancé, Track Harry⁴, it just goes on, it's really embarrassing.

-Do you have any fun photos of trudy on your phone?

-I just left LA. She's looking out the window as we were driving on the free way.And she is so cute.

-Do you mind I think the guitar and playing to us if you mind?

-What this one is called?

-It's called, hum, Runaway⁵.

-Can you explain the script brought from Monte Carlo?

-My character, she comes back from a really wonderful crazy night for the first time she's ever come out of a show, this wonderful boy and she left the necklace in the backpack that's supposed to return that day and she totally forgot.

-“Rally, isn't it in the backpack? I put it in his backpack to be safe!”

-“Backpack? Wait, wait.”

-“What, whose backpack?”

-“Rally's”

-Now, the question Cruncher, Brains or Beauty? 

-Brains.

-Barneys or Bergdorfs or Bloomingdales? 

-Barneys.

-Nate ,Chuck or Dan?

-Oh, god. That's terrible, Chuck.

-New York or Paris? 

-Oh god, really, ah, New York, I guess.

-Heels or flats?

-Heels.

-Worth staying home for? Ah, god, breaking bad.

-You will never throw away? A pair of shoes that I wore when I first went to New York.

-Nobody knows you can? 

-Water ski pretty good.
