get excited, keep moving, and then find yourself lost. 让你激动  一直前进  然后迷失方向

It's so important always to be able to know your way out, 知道自己出洞的路线 很重要

mark it in any way you can, whether it's big scrapes on the floor, 做好标记   无论是在路上做好刻痕印记

big boulders¹ placed, little rocks placed in your walkway. 或是用各种石头沿途做好标记  都可以

So you've got something to follow to lead you out. 这样你就可以循原路返回
