Actually, there's quite a lot of pull on this stuff. 事实上  这东西有很大的拉力

if the mud up to the surface, you use a stick to put your weight on. 你可以用拐杖来分担体重

and stuck like this,I'm a sitting duck. 再这样陷在这里 我可就成了它的囊中之物了

It's always tempting² just to keep fighting it and wriggling³. 通常这都使人有种 靠不断挣扎来摆脱这种局面的欲望

But what happens is that the mud will always win. 而事实是  挣扎是完全起不了效果的

I can use my water bottle and paracord to get a line to shore to help pull myself out. 我可以用水瓶和降落伞线 来连接水岸 帮忙把自己拉上岸

What I'm gonna try and do is try to tie this off and then throw it over one of those branches over there. 我现在要做的是把这个绑好 然后试着把它扔到 那边树枝那去

See if that snags on a branch. 看看它能不能卡在树枝中间

Got it,but this cord is too thin to pull on. 成功了 但是这个线太细  不利于我拖拽
