And now it's time to make that rendezvous² with a helicopter to get me out of here. 现在是时候到约定地点 让直升机带我出去了

I can hear the distant sound of chopper blades.The heli is on its way in. 我听到了直升机叶片旋转的声音 直升机就在那边

We need to move and find this open ground. 我们需要找到一块平坦开阔的地方

And the place you're least likely to be spotted³ from is down here in the jungle canopy⁴. 这种地方一般都是在 丛林峡谷下面  

You've got to find a clearing.Come on, keep with me, keep with me.Come on. 你要清楚这一点 快点  跟上我  跟上我 快点

And for troops waiting for a pickup⁵,their most vulnerable point was when the heli actually came in. 军队正等着接我们呢 最大的弱点就是 直升机来的时候

It's well out in the clearing.And look we set the whole of this thing alight, 这块空地很好 把这些都点燃了  

it's gonna be visible for miles. 浓烟让数英里外都能看到

A large signal fire with a decent plume⁷ of smoke can be seen up to 20 miles away. 一场大浓烟的烽火信号 能让20英里外都能看见

With the chopper getting close now,can be seen up to 20 miles away. 直升机来了 很容易就让飞行员认出这里了

For a soldier on the ground,even the razor-sharp grass and debris⁸ whipped up by the rotorwash 对于地面的士兵来说 即使这些割人的草  气流带起来的碎渣

wouldn't dampen the joy of a successful heli pickup. 都不会减少直升机到来时候的喜悦

The jungle is a dangerous place,but getting out of there alive is the best feeling in the world. 丛林是个危机四伏的地方 但是能够活着离开 会是最棒的感觉
