The Syrian crisis is nominating John Kerry's agenda, his day will trip overseas as secretary of state. Today in Britain, Kerry called on Syrain opposition1 leaders to meet him in Roma to discuss whether else the US can do to help them. More from NPR's Michele Kelemen.

A horse meat scandal has spread to cafeterias of popular world furnitur retailer15, IKEA. NPR's Eleanor Beardsley reports the horse meat has been dectected in IKEA Swedish meat balls.
Swedish media are reporting that traces of horse meat were found by check inspectors16 in IKEA's Denish imported beef, demonstrating the true international nature of the scandal. IKEA announced on its Facebook page, that it was withdrawing its meat balls in stored in 14 countries. At IKEA just out side of Paris, DanisAlla and Moctarxx, say they are surprise.
