Competitive eating or speed eating features contestants¹ clashing to consume the largest quantity of food in a short period of time. 大胃王或快吃比赛主要以参赛者在一小段时间内比赛吃下最大量食物为特色。

The competitors are referred to as gurgitators. 参赛者被称作大胃王。
