This is a photo of Willie P. Williams, he was arrested back in 1985 for rape¹, kidnapping and aggravated³ sodomy.

DNA² testing has proven that Mr Williams is innocent of the crime he was convicted of.

When he's been gone for so many years and all of a certain he is coming home.

William's mother is understandably emotional at the prospect⁴ of her son finally coming home after spending the best years of his life behind bars. Aimee Maxwell heads up the Georgia Innocence⁵ Project, a non-profit organization dedicated⁶ to free innocent inmates⁷ through DNA testing.

There was evidence from the person who committed the crime, and the great thing is Cliff said earlier, the miraculous⁸ thing is it was still there and it was able to be tested.

Cliff Williams and an intern⁹ with the Georgia Innocence Project did the lion share who are to prove Williams's innocence. He explains one reason that Williams case was so appealing.

Now after the first 2 attacks, our client Mr Williams was arrested on unrelated charges and while he was in Fulton County jail, he, additional 3 attacks occurred in the same general area under almost identical circumstances.

The Georgian Bureau of Investigations¹⁰ conducted the DNA testing that will mean Willie Williams would soon be a free man.

The only thing I want is my son to be free, for him to walk out of those doors and be a free man.
