 　　LESSON 58 FAN AND HER PUPS 第五十八课 方和他的狗仔

　　Harry¹ ran into the house shouting, "Susy, Susy, Susy! come and see what Fan has got!" 哈利跑进屋子叫到，"苏西，苏西，苏西"看看方得到了什么！"

　　Susy, hearing her brother call, went to him.  苏西，听到哥哥的叫声，来到他身边，

　　Then they went together across the yard into the stable². 他们一起穿过庭院来到马厩

　　There lay Fan on the straw³, with four of the prettiest little black and white pups you ever saw. 方躺在牧草上，四只黑白相间的小狗崽在他的旁边

　　As soon as the pups could see, Harry and Susy went to look at them. 一等小狗能看到，哈利和苏西就过去看望他们

　　When the children went into the stable, they saw one of them running back to its mother.  当这两小孩走进马厩，看到有只跑向它的妈妈了。

　　It had been wandering about among the straw. 它已经在牧场上闲逛过了

　　Placing them in a basket, Susy took them into the house, to show them to her mother. 把他们放在一个篮子里，苏西帮他们带进了屋子，向她的妈妈炫耀了。

　　The children went every day to see the little pups;  两小孩子每天都回去看望小狗；
