get one's / a foot in the door 入门，迈出第一步

open the door to sth 为…打开大门，使…成为可能，给…机会

close the door on sth 堵死…的门路，指把...拒之门外，不接纳

show sb the door 逐客

be at death's door 在鬼门关前，生命垂危
