早安英文 第471期:掌握do的10种用法

 1.do lunch/movie 吃午饭／看电影
Let's do lunch next week. 我们下周一起去吃午饭吧。

2.打招呼可用：
－How do you do? 你好 －How do you do? 你好
－How are you doing? （How you doing？）你还好不 －I'm doing alright. 我还行。

3.What can I do you for? 需要帮你做点什么吗？

4.No can do. 我做不到啊。
No can do i got plans later. 哈哈哈哈办不到，我日程很满的嘻嘻。

5.do oneself up 收拾打扮
She spent ages doing herself up. 有的吕孩花很多年整容

6.表示发型
Hey check out my new do! 快看我的新发型！

7.do sth. out/ do sth.up, 表示整理，装饰，修缮。相当于decorate¹
The room was beautifully done out in blue color. 这个房间用蓝色系的装饰弄的非常漂亮。
The apartment was done up in modern style. 这个公寓是现代风格装修的。

8.do sb. in. 相当于beat someone up, 或者甚至是杀了某某。
Me and my friend will do you in if i see you stealing from my shop again. 如果你再从我店里偷东西，我和我的朋友会狠狠揍你一顿。

9.do sb. down 批评某人，尤其指以不公平的方式。
I know you don't like him, but there's no need to keep doing him down in front of his girlfriend. 我知道你不喜欢他，但是也没必要当着人女朋友面批评他啊。

10.That'll do＝That's fine/It will be fine/It's good enough

11.That should do it. 应该可以，行吧。
