Now for the latest development in China's campaign against online pornography. Chinese internet giant Sina has been ordered to halt its online publishing and video operations for spreading pornographic content.
According to the National Office Against Pornographic and Illegal Publications, online reading and video sections on Sina contained pornographic literature and videos. Since January, authorities have closed over 100 websites, 3,300 accounts on China-based social networking services, and deleted more than 200,000 items containing pornography.
