The Commissioner's Office of China's Foreign Ministry¹ in Hong Kong says it supports the consensus² reached by the SAR's government and the Philippines on the Manila hostage incident. It says the SAR's government has made unremitting efforts on this. 

And the Central government has also urged the Philippines to deal with the demands of the victims’ families and keep in close contact with Hong Kong. It also says the Office will spare no efforts to maintain Hong Kong residents' legal rights and interests overseas.
