我国12座城市将试点生育险与医保合并

 　　Basic medical insurance and maternity¹ insurance will be merged² for urban residents in 12 cities including Handan, Jinzhong, Shenyang and Chongqing from the end of June this year as a pilot project, according to a circular issued by the State Council.

　　根据国务院日前公布的一份通知，自今年6月底起，作为一项试点项目，邯郸、晋中、沈阳、重庆等12个城市的城镇居民基本医疗保险和生育保险将合并。

　　Medical insurance funds will cover the function of maternity insurance, including reproductive healthcare and birth allowance, the circular explained.

　　通知称，医疗保险基金将覆盖生育保险用途，包括生育医疗费用和生育津贴。

　　The funds will be raised according to updated standards. The new premium³ employers should pay for employees will be the sum of the two insurance premiums⁴.

　　医疗保险基金将按照新标准征收。用人单位为职工缴纳的新的保险费将是两项保险费用的总和。

　　The service that maternity insurance provides to urban residents will not be cut after the reform, the circular said.

　　通知指出，改革后，城镇居民享受的生育保险待遇将不会降低。

　　Management of the two insurance systems will be integrated in terms of services, information processing and cash settlements.

　　在服务、信息处理、现金结算方面，基本医疗保险和生育保险将统一管理。

　　According to the circular, the reform will improve the efficiency of public insurance and cut administrative⁵ costs. The test of the reform will last one year.

　　根据该通知，改革将提升公共保险的效能、降低管理成本。改革试点期限为一年。
